An intimate cafe with highly personalised service and flavourful food to match. From being greeted by the nicest guy in the world, Jack, to tasting the best egg & avocado toast... ever. (thank you to the chefs!)
It really is a special experience when you visit Quince and Clover.
No matter who came in, the staff knew them by name, what they were having to drink and even how they liked their eggs in the morning... I have never seen service like it. It's like a big family visiting here. Warm and calm.
There isn't enough words in the dictionary to explain my morning here today. I'm blown away and will be coming back. Special thank you to Jack for going the extra mile! He took the time to learn about my tastes and recommend food/drink to match. I have never received service like this before and I've been around the block a few times.
Thank you!
My absolute favourite place to visit for brunch! In a gorgeous setting, the staff are always so friendly - service is great and the food is even better. I could not recommend this place to anyone enough, I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all incredible.
Q&C is an absolute delight! The food is something special (most notably the French toast with stone fruit) and service lovely, which made for the best cafe visit we’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to visit again & would recommend to anyone.
This isn’t your average cafe. This place is outstanding and offers not only the freshest and absolutely delicious homemade food but also presents their plates like a piece of art! I cannot recommend you support this hidden gem enough. Their flavour combinations will make your taste buds party with joy. Whether you pop in for a takeaway coffee, salad box and loaf of local Cotswold Sourdough or sit down and enjoy a the full brunch/lunch experience, it will be memorable for all the right reasons.
Beautiful little cafe - small but lovely menu - only 4/5 tables so quite cosy. Coffee was excellent - we had the poached eggs with advo & lentil Dahl & sausage roll - can’t fault the food. My only Critique was we were ignored when we went it & we kind of hung around not sure if we sat down or waited, once seated our coffees came quickly, but we were then left for 20 mins before they came back to take our food order. Our table was overlooked ?? Whilst new comers were served swiftly
Still a lovely cafe run impeccably by Jack the Lad and his team. Food is fab, local pub is great and has some beautiful walks nearby. Not to be missed if you are in the area!
A countryside gem! Worth the wait for a table (weekends are busy - we gave them our phone number so we could have a wander with the dog whilst waiting for a table). Very friendly, personal and efficient service. Clearly popular with locals and staff seem to know most the people they’re serving which is always
reassuring! Extremely high quality (and beautiful) food created with care using local ingredients as well as a well stocked deli fridge of goods to take home. Perfectly poached eggs on sourdough, avocado and greens topped with hazelnut dukkha, pea shoots and red veined sorrel plus added bacon or salmon will set you back £18. Yes, prices are higher than you might expect but worth it in my opinion especially when food/Ingredient costs these days are through the roof. Don’t come here and expect to have breakfast for a tenner! Best pain au chocolate we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a lot) great coffee and fresh smoothies with a difference. I had a yellow tropical based one with an edge of ginger, tumeric and the right about of chilli. A beautiful display of cakes and baked goods are there to tempt you but with good reason - the coconut loaf cake was delicious topped with toasted coconut, fresh blueberries & lime zest. I left full and very happy. A busy and bustling atmosphere but not rushed despite its busyness.
Dog friendly. I’ll be back when in the area for sure as I’m only sad I didn’t get to try the lunch menu or the ice creams!
The staff were incredibly helpful and found a table for six in no time. The various dishes chosen were all excellent and in a couple of instances to much. The Eccles cakes were amazing unfortunately l only brought two away with me.
May 16th had to return for another visit, the experience was just as good as the previous visit
